Within the association, Reisewitz will be working on the development of an anti fouling coating; such coating would prevent micro organisms to settle on immerged surfaces and sully them, and make them lose their efficiency or functionalities. This could have tremedous potential in industries like construction, ship building, sea windmills, swimming pool coatings…

Cooperation with the innovation network Gravomer

Within the association, Reisewitz is developing an anti-fouling coating. Such coating inhibits biofilm formation caused by environmental impacts. By preventing micro organisms to settle on coated surfaces, long-lasting functionality of the protective foil is ensured.

This new invention will potentially be applicable in building industry, ship building, offshore wind farms, foils for swimming pools and ponds.
